Product Applications
Mixed Butyl Acetate is a solvent with similar usage and performance to n-butyl acetate, but at a lower cost. Due to its multiple esters and small amount of alcohol, it has better dissolving power for nitrocellulose in wood coating production compared to n-butyl acetate. In terms of formulating tincture, it has the same application as n-butyl acetate, and because Mixed Butyl Acetate contains 17%-22% of amyl ester, its aroma is more fragrant and superior to n-butyl acetate, making it more favored by construction personnel for formulating tincture.
