N-Propyl Acetate

N-Propyl Acetate, also known as propyl acetate, acetic acid propyl ester, or n-propyl acetate, with the CAS No.109-60-4, is naturally found in fruits such as strawberries, bananas, and tomatoes. It is a colorless and transparent liquid at room temperature, which can be mixed with ethanol and diethyl ether, and has a unique fruity aroma. N-Propyl Acetate possesses typical properties of esters and is widely used in the production of ink, nitrocellulose paint, varnish, and various resins. Especially in the printing and packaging industry, it serves as an environmentally friendly solvent that replaces benzene and ketones, and has gained extensive application.
