On November 2nd, 2014, at the Huanglong Sports Center in Hangzhou. 30,000 people gathered, and at the sound of the starting gun, the crowd scattered as they ran. Among them were young people running swiftly, elderly people striding confidently, and children running playfully. The runners had different nationalities and ages, regardless of their professions, but they were all focused on running their own race. Crossing the Qiantang River, passing through the Huanglong Cave, circling around the West Lake, climbing up the Broken Bridge, appreciating the lotus ponds along the shore, and looking out at the Leifeng Pagoda from afar - all while enjoying the scenery along the way.

As one of the sponsors of this marathon, Yip’s Chemical Group not only actively promoted and advocated for national fitness but also encouraged its employees to register and participate. On the day of the race, over 200 participants from the Hong Kong headquarters and various subsidiaries across China flew down the track beside the West Lake, running with passion and confidence.

A more athletic participant wrote: "In the cool autumn weather, with the sun shining yellow and leaves falling, I am filled with sorrow. As the wind blows, between the shadows of the trees, I walk lightly, afraid to awaken the ancient love story of Xu Xian and Bai Niangzi that has been sleeping for a thousand years, and also afraid to disturb Ji Gong Lao Fo's serene meditation. Running is like life's journey. Even if you encounter obstacles and setbacks along the way, there will always be some people and things that are pure and untainted, just like a person's running - earnest and persistent but not lonely."
