Semi-coke is light black; it has the characteristics of high fixed carbon, high specific resistance, high chemical activity, low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus and so on. Chinese semi-coke is called "blue coke" in China because the flame it burns is blue. Its structure is similar to coke, and the average price is only half of the cost of coke.
Semi-coke (gas coke) is made from high-quality Jurassic coal produced in the Shenfu Coalfield. As a new type of carbon material, it has high fixed carbon, high specific resistance, high chemical activity, low ash, low aluminum, low sulfur, low phosphorus and other excellent properties. It has gradually replaced metallurgical coke anthracite and charcoal. As an irreplaceable carbon material, it has been widely used in the production of silicon carbide, metal silicon, iron alloy, silicon carbide, silicon carbide and so on. In addition, it can also replace a considerable number of anthracite and hard coke in blast furnace injection, the production of carbonized materials and activated carbon and other fields of application.

Application:
The larger size semi-coke is mainly used as a clean fuel to reduce the emission of air pollutants, especially PM2.5.
Features:
Compared with bituminous coal, large-size semi-coke has higher heating value and lower volatile matter and sulfur content. Its characteristics are similar to anthracite, but it has better combustion performance.
The product has a good desulfurization effect in the physical adsorption desulfurization reaction and reduces the emission of SO2, and the specific surface area is 160 m2.g-1.
PM2.5 emissions are extremely low. The emissions are only 10 per cent of washed coal and 1.8 per cent of raw coal.
For the most harmful carcinogenic and teratogenic factors in the atmosphere, its emissions are only 3% of raw coal.

Application:
Large semi-coke is mainly used in fertilizer plants. Small and medium-sized semi-coke is mainly used for the production of calcium carbide, silicon calcium and ferroalloy smelting. Semi-coke powder is mainly used for civil smokeless fuel and iron ore sintering.
Semi-coke used as reducing agent for ferroalloy smelting.
Semi-coke is used as a solid reducing agent in submerged arc furnace. Ferroalloy coke is a special coke for smelting ferroalloy in ore furnace. Coke quality standards used in ferrosilicon alloy production are very strict. Therefore, if it can be used to produce ferrosilicon, then it should be good for all other ferroalloy products.
Semi-coke used as a calcium carbide reducing agent.
The semi-coke of calcium carbide is used as an electrical conductor and a heating source. Low ash, high reactivity, high resistivity and suitable particle size are required, and powder and moisture should also be eliminated.

Gasified coke is a special kind of gasified coke. It is also the heat source in the gasification process. Low ash, high ash melting point, suitable block size and uniformity are the main quality factors of our semi-coke.
Semi-coke for industrial boiler combustion. For ordinary boilers, it is recommended to use semi-coke with slightly higher volatility, because semi-coke is smokeless, tasteless, and has a small flame. In ordinary boilers, low-volatile substances are not easy to ignite.
7. Semi-coke is used for barbecue charcoal. It can be added to charcoal, and grilled charcoal is prepared in proportion to combustibles, wood powder and sulfur fixing agent.
8. Use semi-coke in the gas generator to produce gas. Large boilers used in factories are usually equipped with small-sized semi-cokes.
9. Briquette is made of semi-coke, generally with semi-coke powder.
10. Semi-coke can make activated carbon. The application range of high-grade semi-coke activated carbon in various sewage treatment is expanding.
The adsorbent prepared by semi-coke has excellent adsorption performance, especially for phenolic substances in wastewater, which is similar to that of activated carbon.
